Lee Coburn is putting Glade Spring, Virginia on the world map. The Atlanta School of Art grad's ad agency maintains an impressive client list from Abingdon to Australia including Barter Theatre, New Peoples Bank, and Rockend. He serves as an adjunct professor at Emory & Henry in Emory, Virginia, and has hired some of his former students, keeping some of the region's best web talent from leaving in the process of building his business. Keeping creative minds and talent in the region is a part of Coburn's plan for not only Coburn Creative, but also for the revitalization of the town of Glade Spring. He co-founded Further House, a company dedicated to revitalizing the town square there. Coburn has also spent the past two years on the town council in Glade Spring, working with other town officials on a plan for the future prosperity of the town.
